As most of you know i marched with the Appleknockers from 1970-1972 when i aged out.

The Appleknockers were the first corps to use contra bass bugles,

the first corps to use a horn soloist on the competition field. The first corps to

introduce popular music, jazz, swing and blues on the competion field.  Ken Peterson

is the soprano soloist featured on this cd and is still marching today with St. Joe's Alumni Corps.
